Get to know Megan

Megan is a registered nurse with over 10 years of nursing experience, coupled with nearly 5 years of healthcare management. She possesses an extensive outpatient and hospital emergency department experience, including trauma center and freestanding ER, managing various size teams providing exceptional care to patients.

Megan is responsible for the day-to-day management of all clinical operations in North Texas for Medix Infusion, including staffing of highly skilled Nurse Practitioners and infusion nurses delivering personalized infusion therapies to improve patient care and quality of life. She is also in charge of the drug compliance program, as well as creating and monitoring staff development and training to maintain a clinically strong infusion team. Megan plays a vital role in the recruitment of key clinical personnel and has implemented a solid, comprehensive onboarding program to achieve optimum success with new clinical employees.

Prior to Medix, Megan was Facility Administrator for City Hospital Emergency Care Center where she managed all clinical operations, staffing, staff education and compliance. She spent several years in Medical City Plano’s Level 1 Trauma Center where she successfully led her team during high growth years. She was instrumental in helping create and implement a successful Rapid Triage System in a heavily crowded ER, significantly decreasing patient wait times for the facility and increasing overall customer service satisfaction scores from 75% to 96%. Megan has also worked in various level Emergency Departments in multiple states.

Megan has a BSN and an MBA with a focus in Healthcare Management from Angelo State University.  Megan is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time with her family in the great outdoors, as well as running and working out in her spare time.
